Major Change in how you register for the ESGs

Once athletes have qualified or have been named to your qualifying list/rosters, they must go to the ESG registration page to register and pay the entry fee to confirm their intention to participate in the Games in Lake Placid.  More details are available on the website ‘Have You Qualified for the Games?’ webpage, which can be accessed from the Winter Games home page (www.empirestategames.org/winter).

When we receive the qualified athlete list from ESSRA it be will posted as a ‘preliminary’ roster on the website.  As athletes register, the state will periodically update the rosters to reflect those that have completed their online registration.

After the registration deadline of February 17, 11pm, we will then post ‘final’ rosters on the website.  These ‘Final’ rosters will list all qualified athletes who have registered online for the Games.  Final rosters will be posted by 10am on Thursday, February 18.  Qualified athletes who do not register online by 11pm on 2/17 will be removed from the preliminary list and will not be permitted to participate in the Games.
